Dr. Zilpher Agnes Nyakwara is a Senior Research Scientist at the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO), specializing in the socio‑economic and environmental dimensions of agricultural systems, with additional focus on environmental productivity, gender equity, and food security. Her interdisciplinary work bridges scientific research and policy to advance sustainable agricultural development across Kenya and the wider East African landscape. She collaborates closely with national institutions, including Egerton University and KALRO’s Food Crops Research Centre, and is committed to strengthening scientific excellence and ensuring that research evidence informs meaningful development outcomes.
