Precision agriculture is the practice of improving yield of crop and supporting management decisions using high technology sensors and analysis tools. It is also known as precision farming, satellite farming or site specific crop management. Precision agriculture is a method to farm management that uses information technology to make sure that crops and soil receive exactly what they have for optimum health and productivity.
It is a new concept adopted all over the world to increase production, lessen labour time, and to make sure effective management of fertilizers and irrigation processes. It is used to improve the use of agricultural resources, yields, and the quality of crops.
