Floriculture, or flower farming, is a division of horticulture that deals with the growing and farming of flowering and decorative plants for gardens and floristry. Floriculturists development new varieties of flowering plants using plant breeding. Unlike nursery crops, floriculture crops are generally herbaceous.
Viticulture or winegrowing is the agriculture and harvesting of grapes. Viticulturists monitor and control pests and diseases, apply fertilizers to plants, irrigate, manage canopy, monitor fruit development and characteristics, decide when to harvest, and prunes vine during the winter months. Viticulturists are often closely deal with winemakers.
